Ahead of Scarlet Witch’s launch this June, Marvel Comics has unveiled two new variant covers, one by legendary artist P. Craig Russell and another piece from best-selling cover artist Jenny Frison…

This June, we’ll fall through the “Last Door” into the thrilling adventures of Wanda Maximoff once again in a new Scarlet Witch ongoing series.

Writer Steve Orlando is back for another chaos-filled era of Scarlet Witch, this time alongside X-Men Red artist Jacopo Camagni. Like many of Marvel’s major launches, we’ll be able to pick from a variety of stunning variant covers, including a foil variant cover that utilizes classic poster art by legendary artist P. Craig Russell and a new piece from best-selling cover artist Jenny Frison.

Following the current 60th-anniversary limited series Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver, Wanda returns to her new base of operations upstate and resumes her duties as hero to the helpless.

When innocents in desperate need have no place left to turn, they’re magically transported and find themselves under the protection of one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. However, Scarlet Witch knows better than anyone that magic always has a price.

Just like Orlando’s first volume, it’s said we can expect deadly new threats as Wanda’s newfound peace draws the wrath of a primal force unlike anything she’s ever faced before.

It’s a clash of titans as the Scarlet Witch performs her greatest feats yet to defend all she holds dear. What happens when an unstoppable force meets the end of all things? When pure chaos meets pure destruction? Wanda’s about to find out…if she survives long enough.

“The news is out and I couldn’t be more excited!” Orlando previously said of the series. “Scarlet Witch has been a dream job, and getting to return to her once again and continue Wanda’s adventures is something I could never say no to. And Wanda’s going to keep climbing!”

“Here, we’ll be bringing the blockbuster storytelling of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver to the focused, personal journey Wanda began in Darkhold and Scarlet Witch,” the writer added. “And standing in her way? Only one of Marvel’s most powerful and climactic entities, bent on destroying everything Wanda stands for.”

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Wanda Maximoff is currently M.I.A. after her apparent demise in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, we expect to see the hero return in either Avengers 5 or Avengers: Secret Wars.
