It seems that even Marvel’s biggest stars can’t get enough of their own movies! Tom Holland has revealed he often rewatches one key Spider-Man film with his partner Zendaya.

Zendaya and Tom Holland are two of the biggest young names in Hollywood right now. Yet with all of the blockbuster projects they’re attached to, it seems they like to reminisce about simpler times in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Holland, the two enjoy rewatching Spider-Man: Homecoming to savor the moments of their youth.

“I definitely watch my stuff,” Holland told Extra on the red carpet of the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday. “I sometimes think I am my best critic. I really, like, know what it is that I can do, and sometimes I will see something and go, ‘Damn! I could have pushed more there.’ Really, once something has come out, I kind of leave it to bed.”

“Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch ‘Spider-Man 1‘ and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again. I love those movies, and I love savoring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it’s so special. It’s such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth..I wouldn’t be the man I am today without that job.”

It’s certainly nice to hear that Tom Holland and Zendaya love their MCU roles as much as everyone else. While Spider-Man: Homecoming continues to get a lot of flack to this day, many praise it as the best example of what a street-level Spider-Man could and should be. With Spider-Man 4 seemingly set to take the character back to his roots, here’s to hoping the two can have a new movie to rewatch on date nights.

What does the future hold for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker? The success of Spider-Man: No Way Home has opened up a world of possibilities for the fan-favorite Marvel character. The movie ends with Peter erasing himself from the memories of his loved ones in order to protect them from his enemies. This sets up an interesting dynamic for future Spider-Man movies, as Peter will have to navigate a world in which he is not known as Spider-Man.

Rumor has it that Tom Holland has signed on for multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances after Spider-Man: No Way Home. The future of the Spider-Man series is currently unclear, but it is likely that Marvel will continue to explore the multiverse concept that was introduced in No Way Home.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now available to own on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Spider-Man’s Marvel Cinematic Universe future and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
