Ryan Reynolds Comments On Taylor Swift Deadpool 3 Cameo Rumors

Ryan Reynolds has finally addressed the Taylor Swift Deadpool 3 cameo rumors. Swift is one of the many rumored cameos for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie; however, her being spotted with Deadpool 3‘s cast and director fueled the rumors. Swift’s possible appearance in the movie also gained more strength after Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy did not deny the rumors.

Speaking with The Vancouver Sun, Reynolds commented on the rumors that Swift has a role in Deadpool 3. The actor confirmed that he is well aware of that particular part of the Deadpool 3 cameo rumors, saying, “I love it.” However, those expecting Reynolds to either debunk or confirm Swift’s involvement were left hanging, as the Deadpool 3 star stated, “Every single one of these secrets and spoilers will be revealed on July 26.” Check out the full quote below:

“Yeah, I’ve heard that one,” said Reynolds laughing. “I love it (the gossip). I think it is a sign of how eager people are to get a peek behind the curtain in this world. Every single one of these secrets and spoilers will be revealed on July 26.”

She Is Rumored To Play An X-Men Hero In The MCU

The Taylor Swift Deadpool 3 cameo rumors have been going on since 2022, with many thinking the pop star will play the X-Men Dazzler in the film. Besides being one of the most famous singers in the world, Swift is also an actress, which makes her possible Deadpool 3 cameo more likely. Swift has also already donned the Deadpool suit Reynolds wore in the Fox movies, as the duo met through Reynolds’ wife, actress Blake Lively, and have become close friends, which led to Reynolds lending her the Deadpool suit for Halloween.

Recently, Swift was spotted at a football game with Deadpool 3 stars Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, as well as the movie’s director, Shawn Levy, which added new fuel to the rumors that she would be making an appearance in Deadpool 3. Given Swift and Reynolds’ friendship, the ordeal might not mean anything to her chances of being in the movie but rather just be a get-together between friends. However, given how the Deadpool 3 cast and director have not outright denied Swift’s involvement in the film, the rumors should persist until the movie releases.

Levy revealed that some Deadpool 3 cameo theories are correct, saying, “A lot of the internet rumors are completely false, but some of them aren’t.” With Swift’s personal connection to Reynolds, her recent public outing with the Deadpool 3 cast and director, and her possible role not being debunked, there is a strong chance that Swift might be one of the correct Deadpool 3 cameo theories that Levy mentioned, though fans will only know for sure when Deadpool 3 premieres on July 26, 2024.
