Today. the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences have announced the nominees for the 27th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards, the video game industry’s premier, peer-judged awards show, the culmination of the week-long industry gathering at the 2024 D.I.C.E. Summit. This year’s show will once again be co-hosted by Greg Miller of Kinda Funny and Stella Chung of IGN which is set to take place on Thursday, February 15.
56 games released in 2023 have been nominated. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 leads all nominees this year with 9 nominations. Alan Wake II is right after with 8 nominations followed by Baldur’s Gate III with 7 and COCOON with 6.
The finalists for Game of the Year include Alan Wake II, Baldur’s Gate III, COCOON, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
