Angela is a passive buff card in Marvel Snap who gains +1 Power each time a card enters her lane. She was one of the META characters targeted by the October OTA, which nerfed her gain (from +2 to +1). However, even the downgrade couldn’t push her down the tier list, as she’s still one of the most popular drops. The Best Deck for Angela

Angela works best in bounce and buff archetypes with Kitty Pryde. To build her the best deck, team Angela up with Kitty Pryde and complete the setup with Nightcrawler, Bishop, Ka-Zar, Sunspot, Ant-Man, Elektra, Elsa Bloodstone, Squirrel Girl, Rocket Raccoon, and Blue Marvel.

The synergies of the deck are as follows:

Kitty Pryde is switched in and out of Angela’s lane, giving her +1 Power each time. Nightcrawler transits Angela’s location, bringing her additional Power without clogging the lane. 1-Cost cards are buffed with Ka-Zar. (These include Nightcrawler, Sunspot, Ant-Man, Elektra, Squirrel Girl, and Rocket Raccoon). Bishop, Ant-Man, and Elsa Bloodstone help boost clogged lanes. Blue Marvel buffs the entire board one last time to distribute Power.

How to Play Angela

Since there’s no retriggering limit on Angela, she must be used as a permanent buff card. For that, players will need to find creative ways to drop as many cards as possible in Angela’s lane.

Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler swaps. These two cards can be played into and bounced back from Angela’s lane. Bishop, Elsa, Angela trio. When these cards hit the board, they gain passive buffs—or boost other cards’ Power.

How to Counter Angela

Since Angela’s buffs are permanent, she can be countered with Shadow King and Shang-Chi. Shadow King removes her additional Power while Shang-Chi destroys her for good—if she’s ten or bigger.
