Marvel Comics is set to bring Star Wars‘ Han Solo back for a new adventure set before The Force Awakens. The publisher shared details about two new titles launching later this year.

Marvel recently shared cover art and series details for two new Star Wars comic adventures: Boba Fett – Black White & Red and Han Solo – Hunt for the Falcon, with both set to hit comic book shops in September. The two series will explore different eras of the Star Wars mythos, while also serving as perfect jumping-on points in Marvel Comics’ acclaimed Star Wars stories. The publisher teased revelations about both Han Solo and Boba Fett, saying the series will tie up “a longstanding Star Wars mystery” that longtime fans will want to read.

Star Wars’ Most Epic Battle Actually Involved a Real-Life Natural Disaster (& It Made the Scene Even Better)

As if the Battle of Heroes in Revenge of the Sith wasn’t cool enough already, there’s another important detail that fans might have missed.

Star Wars: Han Solo – Hunt for the Falcon reveals a new adventure set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. The five-part saga is written by Rodney Barnes (Star Wars: Ahsoka) with art by Ramon Rosanas (Star Wars). Marvel’s synopsis of the series teases Han Solo going on an epic quest so that he can return to his adventures throughout the galaxy.

IN THE TIME BEFORE THE FORCE AWAKENS, WHERE IS THE MILLENNIUM FALCON?!

Less than satisfied with a settled life, Han Solo lands on the idea of reclaiming the Falcon and returning to a life of adventure. The problem is, he can’t find it. After enlisting a less than enthusiastic Chewbacca, the duo embarks upon a quest to reclaim the greatest ship in the galaxy. Standing in their way are a laundry list of rogues who have staked a claim to the Millennium Falcon as well, like the villainous scoundrel who stole the Falcon, Ducain.

Han Solo – Hunt for the Falcon is a dream come true,” Barnes told Newsarama when announcing the new series. “Han, Leia, Chewbacca and Lando were my heroes when I was a kid. To write an adventure that includes that quartet (and more!) is truly an honor. One huge check off my bucket list!”

Star Wars: Boba Fett – Black White & Red is the third and newest title under Marvel’s Black White & Blood imprint, following up on previous stories starring Darth Vader and Darth Maul. Each issue sees all-star creators teaming up to tell some of the most notorious exploits of the Star Wars universe’s most feared bounty hunter.

Boba Fett finds himself tracking down a deadly individual who has played both sides, while realizing that his target is hiding out in a volatile volcanic system.
