Star Wars brings Han Solo out of retirement to Hunt For The Falcon in September, from Marvel Comics

Han Solo comes out of retirement for a new adventure in Marvel’s Star Wars: Han Solo: Hunt For The Falcon comic series.
The story reveals how the Millennium Falcon ended up in a junkyard before Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, and Lando Calrissian return for a five-issue comic event.
Han and Chewbacca race against rogues and the villain Ducain to recover the stolen Millennium Falcon.

Han Solo and Chewbacca managed not to die in the Star Wars sequel movies, which was some feat. But they did seem to grow old and gracefully retire. Well, if Indiana Jones can have once last adventure, so can Han Solo. As Marvel Comics tells the story of how the Millennium Falcon ended up in that junkyard in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Or at least, part of its journey since it was seen in Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi. You know, I hope he talks to her a little more this time. Especially if Lando is around.

Marvel Comics will be publishing Star Wars: Han Solo: Hunt For The Falcon #1 by Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas as a five-issue series starting in September, with Han Solo, Chewbacca. Princess Leia and Lando Calrissian.

Star Wars: Han Solo: Hunt For The Falcon #1 (of 5)
(W) Rodney Barnes (A) Ramon Rosanas (CA) Dan Panosian, EJ Su, Pete Woods
“In the time before The Force Awakens, where is the Millennium Falcon?! Less than satisfied with a settled life, Han Solo lands on the idea of reclaiming the Falcon and returning to a life of adventure. The problem is, he can’t find it. After enlisting a less than enthusiastic Chewbacca, the duo embarks upon a quest to reclaim the greatest ship in the galaxy. Standing in their way are a laundry list of rogues who have staked a claim to the Millennium Falcon as well, like the villainous scoundrel who stole the Falcon, Ducain.

Star Wars: Han Solo – Hunt for the Falcon #1 goes on sale on the 3rd of September with covers from Dan Panosian, EJ Su, and Pete Woods:
