Maria Hill

Lethal And Uncompromising Director Of Shield

First Appearance: New Avengers #4

Maria Hill began as Nick Fury’s right hand, serving as a loyal and dedicated agent with a brilliant tactical mind and unshakable fortitude. When Nick Fury fell from grace, Hill was appointed the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. This led to the events of the Civil War, which pitted heroes against one another after a tragic accident cost the lives of a school bus full of children.

The government installed the Superhero Registration Act, forcing masked vigilantes to reveal their identities to the government and be put on a registry for civilian safety. Maria Hill was the government agent in charge of rounding up heroes who refused to sign up officially and continued to act as illegal heroes. This left a bad taste in a lot of her former allies and painted her as a loyalist, even in the presence of injustice.

6

Galactus

A Cosmic Force That Devours Worlds

First Appearance: Fantastic Four #48

Galactus is primarily a Fantastic Four villain, but due to his threat level, he can be the antagonist to any hero’s story. Loki led entire wars against Asgard, the Earth, and countless other worlds in pursuit of power.

Having the blood of hundreds on his hands, Loki showed little to no remorse when, at every turn, his plots and plans ruined the lives of his people and those closest to him. Many Asgardians still hold the god of mischief in low regard, especially Lady Sif.

4

Bullseye

A Psychopath Who Knows No Limits

First Appearance: Daredevil #131

Bullseye first appeared as an adversary to Daredevil. Talented with extreme precision, Bullseye is capable of hitting his mark with anything he puts in his hands. Over the years, Bullseye has been involved in a number of villainous acts and has no restraint when it comes to maiming and murdering.

Most infamously, Bullseye is responsible for killing Elektra, who at the time was Daredevil’s love interest. This pushed Daredfevil over the edge, and a bitter feud between the two ensued. Bullseye has caused pain to a number of other heroes, proving he is a bloodthirsty criminal who should be put in a cell for the rest of his life.
