Marvel Studios will officially return to Hall H at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 25-28. The studio’s presence at the confab will be on the same weekend its first R-rated feature, the hotly-anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine, hits theaters.
Per Deadline, the studio is headed back to SDCC, with no word yet on what fans can expect from the Hall H panel. Last year’s event was hampered by the actors’ strike, with the studio only present with a trade floor booth, a comic-book panel, and autographs from acclaimed writers and artists. In previous years, the studio has lit up SDCC with big announcements regarding upcoming projects, making it fair to speculate 2024’s Hall H panel will be exciting, especially as the MCU’s Phases 5 and 6 continue to evolve. Fans could perhaps see the cast of 2025’s The Fantastic Four, including Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, grace the stage.

Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman could also show up on the same weekend their ex-Fox Studios characters make their box-office-smashing entry into the world’s most successful movie franchise. Current projections have the Shawn Levy-directed film earning north of $200 million on its opening weekend. The studio revealed some CaptainAmerica: Brave New World footage at Cinemacon earlier this year. Can we expect more at SDCC?
Thunderbolts, starring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, and David Harbour, is currently in production and is another project which could feature heavily at Hall H. Also, the Marvel series Agatha AllAlong, Wonder Man and Ironheart have completed shooting and the retooled Daredevil: Born Again is currently filming, meaning fans will probably get at least a peek at some of the upcoming projects. Marvel Studios could also finally reveal a new director for Avengers 5.
