Marvel’s latest offering, Ironheart, is almost here, and it brings with it some very exciting villains from the comics, including The Hood, Zeke Stane, Rampage, and, as many believe from hints, Mephisto. Ahead of the series’ premiere on June 24, 2025, here is a list of all the Ironheart villains.

The Hood is one of the primary villains confirmed for Ironheart. The trailer for Ironheart gave a glimpse of Anthony Ramos’ The Hood. Starting out as a petty criminal, The Hood gained his powers by defeating a Nisanti demon in the comics. Rumors claim that his powers in the MCU come from a deal with Mephisto, the satanic entity in the universe. The Hood will perhaps pose a direct contrast to Riri Williams’ character.

Created by Stan Lee and John Buscema, Mephisto is one of the most iconic Marvel characters in comic book history. He has served as an adversary to several other heroes like Ghost Rider and Spider-Man.

While there is no confirmation about Mephisto appearing in Ironheart, a small detail in the episode guide has many fans convinced that Mephisto will make his Marvel debut. Rumors of Marvel casting Mephisto go back to 2022.

Zeke Stane may be another hidden Ironheart villain, as pointed out by many after the trailer was released. A behind-the-scenes featurette released sometime back featured an arm sparking with energy.

This resembled the comic book depiction of Zeke Stane, who is often compared to Iron Man. While Marvel has yet to confirm whether Stane is actually going to be there in Ironheart, most believe that this rumor will come true.

Rampage and others in The Hood’s gang

Alongside The Hood, his gang has several iconic characters from the Marvel comics, including their tech specialist, Stuart Clarke (played by Eric André in the series). Some comic fans will recognize him better as Rampage, a villain dating back to the 1970s. In the comics, Rampage has had a complex arc, fighting on both sides.

Apart from Rampage, The Hood’s game will also feature pyrotechnics specialist Clown (Soniya Denis), Blood Siblings Ros and Jerry Blood (Shakira Barrera and Zoe Terakes), John (Manny Montana), and Slug (Shea Couleé).

Ironheart will premiere on June 24, 2025, and provide a clearer glimpse at all these iconic Marvel characters.
