#4: The New Gods #7
‘The New Gods’ #7 welcomes the refugee
The New Gods #7 balances spectacle with substance. Ram V continues to use the grandeur of cosmic mythology to tell deeply human stories, this time grounding the New Genesis diaspora in real-world parallels with grace and conviction. Evan Cagle’s distinctive line work, paired with Francesco Segala’s atmospheric colors, gives the issue a visual identity that feels both otherworldly and emotionally grounded.

#3: Fantastic Four Fanfare #2
‘Fantastic Four Fanfare’ #2 has something for every FF fan
Fantastic Four Fanfare #2 delivers an impressive celebration of Marvel’s First Family. Each story feels like a creative playground, proving that Marvel’s First Family can still stretch across genres just as well as they stretch across dimensions. Whether you’re here for the nostalgic horror riffs, the emotional character beats, or the slapstick Doom subplot, there’s something for every kind of FF fan.

‘Batman/Superman: World’s Finest’ #40 goes full kaiju
As it stands right now, this is one of the best issues of an already great series, and a fantastic jumping on point for those who have been waiting for the right moment to get started.

#1: Star Trek: Omega #1
‘Star Trek: Omega’ #1 is an emotionally stirring end
Star Trek: Omega #1 delivers an emotional, excellent end to the current era of Star Trek comics. Lanzing, Kelly, Cantwell and the rest of the creative team have delivered a Trek story that deserves to be in the conversation with some of the best movies and series, and I hope the next Trek team carries on in their stead.
