Dazzler’s Newest Era Has a Gorgeous Aesthetic

Swifties’ MCU Dreams Aren’t Very Farfetched

However, becoming Alison Blaire could prove to be the perfect role for her, since it’d provide a chance to mesmerize her audience as one of Marvel’s most successful and heroic vocalists.

The covers for Dazzler #1 feature Dazzler in a variety of situations and poses. From singing into a microphone to readying herself for a show, each cover shows a glimpse of what Taylor Swift’s life as a cinematic superhero could visually look like. The glimpse through the window at Dazzler’s show prep is especially perfect since through-the-window scenes have been used in several of her music videos, such as “You Belong with Me” and “We Are Never Getting Back Together.” Another cover gives her a fabulous getaway car. The series synopsis is as follows:

Dazzler, Marvel’s glittering mutant songstress, has been in and out of the limelight over the years – but now the time has finally come for her to take center stage! Dazzler embarks on a new world tour, the culmination and celebration of her entire musical career. But while Dazzler may be ready to focus on her music, her celebrity-mutant status and a violent attack may sideline the entire endeavor before it’s even begun…

Dazzler hasn’t had her own solo series since 1986, forty years ago, making this a perfect time for her independent resurgence. Her latest adventure will also feature an impressive hero team, with Domino, Strong Guy, Multiple Man, Shark Girl, and Wind Dancer joining her world tour. With such a large time gap, this is the perfect time for the heroine to steal the spotlight. The X-Men are comic mainstays with multiple spin-off teams and independent members operating in any given era. However, Dazzler has continually been in the shadows despite having such a successful musical career in the broader Marvel comic universe.

Taylor Swift & Dazzler are a Perfect Cinematic Match

Dazzler hasn’t had her own solo series since 1986, forty years ago, making this a perfect time for her independent resurgence.

Taylor Swift hasn’t translated her career in music to one that widely and successfully includes film. While herEras Tour had a very successful box office run, her appearances in Amsterdam (2022) and Cats (2019) were far from the strongest uses of her talents. However, becoming Alison Blaire could prove to be the perfect role for her, since it’d provide a chance to mesmerize her audience as one of Marvel’s most successful and heroic vocalists. These gorgeous new Dazzler variant covers certainly fit Taylor Swift’s aesthetic much better, highlighting how well these two larger-than-life musicians could be a great potential match for the MCU.

Dazzler #1 will be available on September 18 from Marvel Comics.
