Needless to say, the excitement for Season 2 is palpable, with many fans ready to see Charlie Cox return to the role.

Now, it appears that another fan-favorite hero will be making their television return.

During Disney‘s upfront presentation, Cox took the stage with none other than Krysten Ritter, the actor known for playing Jessica Jones.
“It’s so great to be back, returning to Jessica after three seasons and ‘The Defenders’ and now joining the MCU,” Ritter said, per Variety. “I’m so excited to bring back this iconic character, and without giving too much away, there is much more in store for Jessica Jones. This is going to be an incredible season!”

Ritter made her debut as Jessica Jones on Netflix in 2015. “Jessica Jones” was one of five Marvel shows that aired on Netflix, including “Daredevil,” “Luke Cage,” “Iron Fist,” “The Punisher,” and “The Defenders.”
All Netflix Marvel series came to an end in 2019 after Disney made the move to put all Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) shows exclusively on Disney+.

Jessica Jones isn’t the only character who has made their return in ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ Vincent D’Onofrio returned as Wilson Fisk, AKA Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher.
The rest of the cast of Season 2 includes Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glen, Wilso Bethel as Bullseye, Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, and Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will also feature Matthew Lillard and Lili Taylor in supporting roles.

The show is produced by Marvel Studios. Dario Scardapane is the showrunner while Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are the lead directors.
The second season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is set to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026. It will have a total of eight episodes and will be part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
