One of Hollywood’s biggest actors is coming to Amazon Prime Video to star in a new Marvel-based series on the streaming platform.
Vernon Sanders, Head of Television at Amazon MGM Studios, revealed during Amazon’s Upfront showcase for this year that there was a project in the works that would be the first of its kind. That project involves adapting a well-appreciated comic Spider-Noir into a live-action for the first time ever, with Nicholas Cage starring as the titular character. Ahead of showing the preview for Spider-Noir at Upfront 2025, Vernon gave the deets during a major announcement.

“We have even more big stars coming to prime video next year, including Oscar-winner Nicholas Cage who’s starring in his first ever TV series Spider-Noir, based on the marvel comic,” Vernon shared at the event.

“This is the first live-action title for this character the series will debut domestically on the MGM+ linear channel and then globally on Prime video the very next week,” he added. “The show will be available in black-an-white and color…”
Vernon made some mega announcements at Upfront beside the live-action adaptation of Spider-Noir.
Earlier in his speech the Amazon higher-up explained that the streamer’s new series Fall Out had been renewed for a third season before Season 2 even premiered.
“How lucky are we to have fallout. The quality of the filmmaking and the storytelling in Season 2 is next level. I’m telling you it’s going to be epic,” Vernon said.
“So I get to make my first big announcement of the night. We are officially green lighting Season 3 of fall out,” He divulged. “I want to thank eveyrone who is involved with this terrific series.”
Vernon went on to disclose that there were some other popular programs that were going to return to Prime Video along with Fallout.
“Now at Prime Video, we love delighting audiences with big event progrmaming like fall out, Reacher, The Boys…. Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power.. all these shows are returning soon,” the media head honcho stated.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, active Amazon Prime Video users commented on the Fallout news, as one said: “Seems like Amazon has a hit on their hands. Even before the second season of the ‘Fallout’ series released, the third season has already been renewed.”

Another shared: “In an age where tv shows are canceled for literally no reason or wiped from existence, having fallout being renewed for a season 3 is such a huge relief and now I can enjoy s2 without being constantly worried that amazon might cancel it for some bullshit reason.”
