Warning! Spoilers for Deadpool #15 ahead!
Deadpool and his daughter, Ellie, officially just recorded “[their] first father-daughter kill” in Marvel Comics history, working together to deliver the death blow to the villain Death Grips, who has put the Merc With A Mouth and his heir through hell over the course of the current ongoing Deadpool series.
Deadpool #15, written by Cody Ziglar, with art by Rogê Antônio, concludes the character’s latest series, which has largely centered new character Ellie Camacho, Deadpool’s daughter. Over the course of the series, Ellie has more than lived up to her father’s legacy, but more than that, they have become an effective team.
In this climactic issue, Ellie and her father get revenge on Death Grips for killing Deadpool earlier in the series, dealing a definitive strike in which they duel-wield a blade together.

Deadpool #15, Written By Cody Ziglar; Art By Rogê Antônio; Color By GURU-eFX; Lettering By Joe Sabino
The latest volume of Deadpool has really been a coming-of-age story for Ellie Camacho, the next generation’s Deadpool. More than just passing the torch, her father, the OG Deadpool, has passed on his mask, his penchant for sharp blades, and his killer instinct, all of which Ellie has shown a natural knack for over the course of the series.
Deadpool #15 serves as a fitting culmination of this story arc, and the peak moment comes, appropriately, when the Deadpools dispatch Death Grips by working together to drive a sword into his chest, resulting in a release of energy that throws both of them backward. It is, naturally, Deadpool himself who recognizes, in the moment, what a special occasion this is.
