Marvel’s Spider-Man is already one of the most critically acclaimed video games of all time, especially when it comes to the PlayStation console. Originally released in 2018, Marvel’s Spider-Man quickly became one of the most hefty competitors for Game of the Year; many features, including its excellent narrative, make Marvel’s Spider-Man such a beloved game.
In Marvel’s Spider-Man, fans immediately are thrown in the shoes of Peter Parker, who has been swinging around New York City as Spider-Man for about eight years. Being a superhero for so long, Peter has a wide array of abilities, moves, and other features that help players to take on the Sinister Six, who are brutal in this take on the Web-Crawler. The game focuses on a new adaptation of the hero that doesn’t sway too far from the character’s source.
9 Saint’s Row 4
Platforms:
PlayStation 3, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC.
Saints Row IV is a unique take on the Saints Row franchise, and, upon release in 2013, instantly became the most popular title in the series. Saints Row IV allows players to create their own character, who ends up becoming President of the United States. Quickly enough in this comedic and action-packed game, fans will have to fend off an alien invasion, known as the Zin.
As players progress, they’ll unlock extraordinary abilities, discover fresh powers, and enhance their existing ones. This unique take on the superhero genre still remains one of the greatest, along with directing a narrative that drives a particular sense of captivation.
8 Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy
Platforms:
PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC.
The Guardians of the Galaxy became a big hit for the MCU with the release of the first live-action movie featuring the unlikely group of heroes. That said, it was only a matter of time before the team was handed their own video game. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy comes in, bringing the same sense of comedy, love, action, and narrative that the movies did. In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, players will play as Star-Lord while using his leadership skill to command the other Guardians.
In this eventful plot, Star-Lord and the Guardians have to save the galaxy against a growing threat known as the Church of the Promise. Many familiar faces, such as Adam Warlock, Cosmo, and even Mantis are all colorful characters that add even more to that game’s immersive story.
7 Batman: Arkham

The plot takes The Hunter on a journey with choices to be made, and enemies to overcome. In between tactical gameplay though, Midnight Suns has great cutscenes, along with lore that can be found throughout The Abbey; these features add to the incredible, and lesser-known, account of the Midnight Suns team.

Platforms:
PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC.

It’s not too different from Marvel’s Spider-Man, but different enough to be a new experience that engages gamers in a different Spider-Man origin story.
In this adaptation, Miles Morales has to look after New York City while Peter is off on vacation. Though Miles struggles at first, the new Spider-Man of New York City is able to overcome plenty of challenges, and eventually take on some of the most well-developed villains of the franchise.
3 Deadpool
Platforms:
PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC.
There has never been a superhero game that twists the genre like Deadpool has, and there may never be one (‘less a sequel of Deadpool reaches light). True to the character, Deadpool writes up an idea for his own video game and sends it off to High Noon Studios (who developed the game).
